Why do you provide a wedding service?
Several years ago, we faced the problem of wanting a wedding ceremony but not having a place or minister to perform the service. Alpha and Omega Weddings was created to meet similar needs of those in the Lehigh Valley.
What type of weddings do you perform?
Your wedding can be religious or not, traditional or contemporary, long or short, all with your input for style and content.
Where do you perform weddings?
Weddings are performed in chapels and churches, gardens and homes, parks and clubs. Any venue will be considered.
Do you help with planning the wedding?
Yes. We can assist with location, flowers, reception, photos, and other concerns. Our expertise comes from years of experience.
Do you require pre-marital counseling?
No formal counseling is required. It is offered for those who want to participate. What we seek is commitment to each other and to the wedding vows.
What if my fiancé (fiancée) and I do not have a religious affiliation?
Your wedding need not be religious. It can include other spiritual qualities that are important to you.
What if my fiancé (fiancée) and I have different religious backgrounds or traditions?
Every effort is made to provide a marriage service that meets your unique needs and concerns. Elements of family traditions can be included in your wedding.
Are there different wedding packages that we can choose?
Yes! Everything from an intimate basic wedding to an elaborate marriage ceremony is available. The best part -- you can choose the items and style you want in your wedding!
Can we add things to the wedding ceremony that we like?
Of course! Though we have suggestions of ceremonies, vows, readings, prayers and other possibilities, what you want in your wedding ceremony is your choice.
How much does it cost?
We want to provide a ceremony that stays within your budget. The cost is determined by a number of factors including date, location, ceremony, etc. When all the items are added together, the price is determined. The cost usually begins around $199 for the basic wedding package.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes, there are discounts available for certain dates and for referrals. We will discuss them fully at your initial consultation.
How far ahead do we need to start planning our wedding?
The earlier the better! Calendars for our services as well as for florists, musicians, photographers, and sites fill up very fast. The more complex the service, the greater the need to start planning early. It is not unusual for us to be contacted more than a year in advance about a certain date and time.
Do you recommend a rehearsal?
Usually yes. The more people that participate in the ceremony, the more recommended it is to have a rehearsal.
Do you offer other ceremonies?
Yes! In addition to wedding ceremonies, elopements and re-affirmation of vows services are available. Just contact us for more information.
